Andy Winwood ACII, CIRM

Commencing his career in 1990 as a Placing Broker at Lloyds, Andy has accumulated over 30 years insurance and risk related experience gained from roles with multinational insurance brokers, captive management and industry, most recently as a senior insurance and risk management subject matter expert for the world’s largest oil and gas company. While this has provided a broad understanding across nearly all classes of insurance and numerous industries, he has specialised in the oil, gas, utility, and infrastructure sectors since 1997.

As Principal Consultant of RSW Insurance Risk Consultants W.L.L. Andy utilises his considerable experience to the benefit of clients seeking assistance to ensure that contractual risks are identified, understood, and backed off appropriately by insurance where possible. His specialist skills extend to developing and agreeing borrower friendly insurance provisions for financial term sheets. Having had responsibility for managing corporate programmes, Andy has significant expertise relevant to reviewing, evolving, and improving complex cross class insurance and reinsurance structures.

A Chartered Insurance Risk Manager, Andy holds the Advanced Diploma from Chartered Insurance Institute, qualified by examination.
