Andy provided input to the discussion based on his experience as senior Insurable Risk Manager as the panel debated issues including the possible impact of the recent implementation of the KSA Civil Code; the importance of investing time to properly draft reasonable and consistent risk allocation provisions in all key project agreements; appropriately managing the relationships between project stakeholders, along with realising the value of brokers and insurers through early engagement and clear, regular communication and material information disclosure throughout the project construction lifecycle.
